The AP is reporting that Comcast showed an 8% jump in profits in it's second quarter this year.

While they continue to loose television subscribers to rival Verizon and others, the loss was within analyst expectations. The growth is attributed to an increase in subscribers for the digital voice service.

Comcast is now the one of the largest phone companies in the U.S.

The Philadelphia Business Journal is reporting that Franklin Electronic Publishers Inc. President and CEO Barry Lipsky laid-off 10% of it's workforce in May.

(Nasdaq: IFLG) a leading technology provider of enterprise mobility solutions for the healthcare and commercial industries, announced today that Global Hunter Securities, LLC. analyst Justin Cable has initiated coverage on the Company. The report projects revenues of $100 million and EBITDA of $2.6 million for the 2008 fiscal year. The report also estimates that InfoLogix will reach breakeven in the third quarter of 2008 and profitability in the fourth quarter of 2008.
