MyYearbook.com Raises 13 Million in Financing

Teen social networking site MyYearbook.com has just secured 13 million in a second round of financing. The lead investor is Norwest Venture Partners.

The company plans to use the investment to help develop new member services and drive revenue.

Existing investors US Venture Partners and First Round Capital also participated in the round, which will be used to develop new member services and continue to drive revenue.

StarCite gets $15M in financing from Internet Capital, others

Philadelphia-based StarCite plans to use the money to continue expanding overseas and to continue boosting the technology behind its products. StarCite allows organizations to manage their meeting and event scheduling and procurement processes through its Web site.
